The five men -- Omar Khyam, Anthony Garcia, Jawad Akbar, Waheed Mahmood and Salahuddin Amin -- were given life sentences in April 2007 after being found guilty of plotting attacks on targets ranging from nightclubs to trains and a shopping center.
