Serbian police (MUP) officers arrested a man in Belgrade today with a cache of weapons and explosives hidden in the trunk of his car. The man, identified as Sabac resident Branko U., 46, was driving a vehicle with Valjevo license plates when he was detained in a Belgrade supermarket parking lot. MUP seizes trunk-load of weapons He was arrested as he was allegedly attempting to sell some of the arsenal: one M-48 7.9mm rifle, a small caliber rifle, and three pistols – a 99mm Luger, a 7.65mm Zastava, and another 22mm small caliber handgun. Branko U. was brought before a Belgrade investigative judge today, along with the criminal charges the MUP filed against him.
