Council for improving the position of people with disabilities opened in Čačak VIDEO
Given that today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which the city of Čačak traditionally celebrates, one of the news in the city on Morava River will be the Council for the Improvement of the Position of Persons with Disabilities.
Today is an important day for people with disabilities in the city on Morava and an important step forward for their quality of life.
"Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and the City of Čačak and the city leadership traditionally organize a reception in the City Administration today for all representatives of the Association of Persons with Disabilities from the territory of Čačak, as well as the Morava district," says Marijana Petronijević, assistant to the mayor of Čačak.
As she adds, the formation of the Council for the Advancement of Persons with Disabilities in the City of Čačak begins this year.
"It will be an advisory body that will be formed by the mayor and will be made up of all representatives of associations of persons with disabilities and will represent a basic platform for dialogue between local self-government, persons with disabilities and all institutions and professionals relevant in this area," she said.
