Strong support for Serbia; Members of the European Parliament rebuked Picula: Here's who opposed him
Members of the European Parliament discussed last night the report on Serbia, which was presented by the rapporteur for Serbia, Tonino Picula, and which was adopted by the EP Foreign Affairs Committee in April.

Many MEPs openly came to Serbia's defense during the debate on Tonino Picula's report.
The French MEP told the truth in front of a full hall: "This is no longer a report, this is an indictment"
In his address, he said that Brussels is trying to punish Serbia only because it does not accept everything that is asked of it.
"Now we no longer know what to invent against Serbia, now you are already writing reports about reports. However, this latest report about Serbia is not objective at all. This is a real indictment."
"Serbia deserves more, but Picula doesn't show it"
Cristian Terheș, MEP from Romania, opposes Picula's report.
The European Member of Parliament from Romania, Cristian Terheș, clearly expressed his disagreement with Tonino Picula's report on Serbia, stating that he will vote against it. Terheș believes that the report does not provide a balanced approach to the challenges facing Serbia. He pointed out that it is necessary to recognize the efforts that Serbia is making on its way to European integration.
"The report on Serbia is politically biased and divides society"
Special attention was drawn last night by the statement of the Hungarian MEP Annamária Vicsek, who assessed that the report is politically biased, unbalanced and does not reflect Serbia's real progress.
"I regret that I have to repeat, as many times before, that this report is politically biased and unbalanced. It does not reflect the real progress that Serbia has achieved, nor is it geopolitically sensitive enough considering the situation in the region."
António Tânger Corrêa on the importance of Serbia
Member of the European Parliament António Tânger Corrêa from Portugal, during the discussion on the report on Serbia, emphasized the key role of Serbia in the Western Balkans.
He emphasized that Serbia is the most important country in this region and that it is crucial that Serbia joins the European Union.
"It's very simple – Serbia is the most important country in the Western Balkans. Serbia must join the European Union. Period."
"This report is biased and unbalanced"
Kinga Gál exposed the report on Serbia in the European Parliament.
The member of the European Parliament from Hungary, Kinga Gál, stated, during the discussion on the report on Serbia, that she is in favor of Serbia's accession to the European Union and that she hopes that Serbia still believes in the EU.
She called the report, authored by the Croatian rapporteur for Serbia in the European Parliament, Tonino Picula, completely politically biased and pointed out that it deals exclusively with weaknesses, while ignoring all reforms.
