Mladic trial: Hague Prosecution seeks life in prison

Mladic has rejected the accusations made against him.

According to AFP, the prosecutor said that "the time has come for General Mladic to be held responsible for crimes against all his victims and the community that he destroyed."

The prosecutor spoke at the end of the closing arguments, in Mladic's trial on charges that include genocide, murder and terrorizing.

The defense team will present their arguments starting on December 9, and then on and December 12 and 13.

Mladic's trial began in May 2012.

He was arrested in Serbia a year earlier, after hiding for 12 years, and extradited to the Hague Tribunal.
