Migrant shot dead, hunter arrested near southern town
Members of joint Serbian army and police patrols near Pirot, southern Serbia, late on Tuesday first "heard a shot" and then "came across six migrants."

Migrant shot dead, hunter arrested near southern town
The Ministry of Defense said that one of the migrants had a firearm wound to his chest, and that four hunters were also found at the scene.An ambulance was called but the crew was unable to help the victim, a 20-year-old Afghani man, who was pronounced dead.
Police officers from Pirot investigated the scene and arrested one of the hunters, identified with his initials and year of birth as M.M. (1977), a Pirot resident.
The Higher Public Prosecution in this town ordered the suspect held in police custody for up to 48 hours.
The police are continuing their work to determine all circumstances of this event.
