"He has been brought in to the prosecution and his case is from now on in their hands," Stefanovic told reporters in Belgrade.

Belgrade media reported on Monday that Pocuca will be put on trial for making threats against the Women in Black NGO, but also for violating the Law on Volunteers.

Namely, Pocuca for a time took part in the war in Ukraine.

A warrant for this arrest was issued in November 2014 as he failed to show up in the courtroom for a trial where he stood accused of endangering the safety of the NGO's members.

The threats were made via Facebook, which Pocuca also used to send a message to Aleksandar Vucic, "accompanied by inappropriate language," saying the Serbian prime minister would "end up like Ceausescu" - a reference to the Romanian president executed by a firing squad, Beta agency is reporting.
