Speaking about increasing influx of migrants, Radovanovic pointed out that nearly 39,000 migrants had received Red Cross aid in Presevo alone from October 1 to 18.

"About 60 percent of all registered migrants receive aid," Radovanovic said, adding that between 4,500 and 5,000 migrants were registered daily in the southern Serbian town.

Radovanovic stressed that taking care of migrants would continue, despite difficulties brought about by cold weather, rain and snow.
