Nikolic: Serbia committed to good-neighborly relations

Nikolic is "always willing to pay an official visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina , when all three members of the Bosnian Presidency show unity and readiness."

Serbia pays considerable attention to fostering good relations with Bosnia-Herzegovina, in keeping with the Dayton Agreement, the statement reads.

Serbia is a factor of peace and stability, and Nikolic's visit to Sarajevo and meeting with members of Bosnian presidency scheduled for Tuesday should have been a confirmation of that, the statement said.

"Unfortunately, instead of easing tensions in the region through talks, we have a request to postpone the encounter, in order for individuals to gain political points among ultranationalists,” it was said.

Serbia is "always ready for talks aimed at reaching an agreement on all issues in the interest of both countries," the statement concludes.
