Serbian currency loses 0.5 percent against euro

The Serbian dinar (RSD) declined by 0.5 percent on Tuesday, making the official medium dinar-to-euro exchange rate RSD 121.7415.

Serbian currency loses 0.5 percent against euro

The indicative dollar exchange rate has declined by 0.5 percent and is at RSD 102.0038.

The dinar has dropped by 4.0 percent against the US currency compared to a month ago and by 17.0 percent compared to a year ago.

Last year, the medium exchange rate was at its highest on January 1, when one euro exchanged for RSD 114.6421, hitting its lowest on December 18, when one euro was worth RSD 122.6321.

In 2014, the NBS bought a total of EUR 260 million and sold EUR 1.84 billion on the interbank foreign exchange market to prevent excessive daily fluctuations of the exchange rate.
