BELGRADE Early parliamentary elections will cost RSD 1,146,440,000 (EUR 9.89mn) according to the financial plan adopted by the Electoral Commission on Wednesday. The government should give its opinion on the commission's request on Thursday. Electoral Commission reveals cost of early elections The request is based on estimates from parliament experts, who presumed that there would be 20 slates and the same number of polling stations and voters as in the previous parliamentary election. The funds will come from the budget reserve, according to what was said at the meeting. The Electoral Commission will also send an official letter to Minister Without Portfolio Aleksandar Vulin on Wednesday, asking for help to organize the vote in Kosovo. A working group tasked with holding the election in Kosovo was formed. Head of the commission Dejan Djurdjevic said at the meeting that the election in March will be held with the OSCE's assistance, like in 2012, and that the same number of polling stations was expected. There were 90 stations in Kosovo during the 2012 election and 35,277 people voted then, he stated.
