Ex-official says U.S. actions were illegal - "but right" She mentioned Kosovo as she was drawing parallels between that crises, and the one unfolding in Syria, and discussing the possibility of her country attacking Syria even without a mandate of the UN. "Well, I think that there are any number of different ways. Frankly, again, to go back to Kosovo, kind of the system said that what we did there was not legal, but it was right," Albrights was quoted as saying, and adding: "I have always believed that we're better off doing something multilaterally than unilaterally.
