BELGRADE-Belgrade University improved its ranking among 500 best world universities on the latest Shanghai list and strengthened its top position in the region. On the list released on Thursday, Belgrade University as left behind the University of Ljubljana and Zagreb University and takes a place in the group of universities ranked between 301 and 400 position and last year, when it appeared on the list for the first time, it ranked in the group of universities between 401 and 500. For three years, Belgrade University was trying to win a place among 500 best universities and currently it is the only one from Serbia that won a place on the list.
