BELGRADE The Serbian police have found a Rembrandt painting stolen by two armed robbers from the City Museum in Novi Sad in 2006. The painting was found in an operation carried out by the Department of Criminal Police and Novi Sad Criminal Police, RTS reported. Police recover stolen Rembrandt painting Four suspects have been arrested. The police recovered Portrait of a Father, painted in 1630, in the town of Sremska Mitrovica, Police Director Milorad Veljovic confirmed. Experts have confirmed that the recovered artwork is authentic, according to RTS. The value of the painting has been estimated at some USD 3.5 million. (Interpol) B92 RTS

Four suspects have been arrested.

The police recovered Portrait of a Father, painted in 1630, in the town of Sremska Mitrovica, Police Director Milorad Veljović confirmed.

Experts have confirmed that the recovered artwork is authentic, according to RTS.

The value of the painting has been estimated at some USD 3.5 million.
