Despite a three-week heat wave the authorities in Serbia do not plan to introduce a state of emergency until the daily highs hit 40 degrees centigrade On Monday, temperatures will range from 33 to 39 degrees, the state meteorological service RHMZ announced. No plans for state of emergency as heat wave continues In some areas, local cloud formation and showers are possible in the evening and during the night. In Belgrade, the temperature will reach 37 degrees centigrade today. A similar forecast has been made for Tuesday and Wednesday, while cooler weather is expected on Thursday when local showers and thunderstorms will first reach northern and western parts of the country, and then spread elsewhere.
