PM extends Christmas greetings to Catholics, Protestants

"This is the time of the year when next to our loved ones we remember the values that guide us through life – tolerance, love and generosity. I wish the clergy, monks and believers who celebrate the merriest Christmas holiday of Christ’s birth according to the Gregorian calendar to spend their festive days in peace and joy," Brnabic said, adding:

"May Christmas bring you a lot of health, happiness, success and progress in all areas of life. Peace from God, Christ is born!"

Minority Christian denominations in Serbia, Catholics and Protestants, will celebrate Christmas on December 25, while the holiday is marked on January 7 by the country's majority Eastern Orthodox Christians.
