According to a statement, the Serbian Delegation was headed by the NBS Governor and Serbia’s representative to the IMF Jorgovanka Tabakovic, and also included Minister of Finance Dusan Vujovic and his associates.

The IMF mission headed, by James Roaf, "will stay in Belgrade from October 26 to November 7 for the eighth review under the stand-by arrangement with the Republic of Serbia," the central bank said.

The NBS recalled that the implementation of the three-year stand-by arrangement concluded in February 2015 has been on track, "with good macroeconomic results within the agreed economic program."

During this final review of the arrangement, the items for discussion will be the latest macroeconomic and fiscal developments, implementation of the agreed measures in Q3 2017 and the budget framework for 2018, the statement said, noting that "special attention will be paid to measures aimed at implementing important structural reforms. Measures that can solidify the achieved results and improve economic efficiency will also be on the agenda."

Bearing in mind that the current stand-by arrangement expires in February 2018, the forms of future cooperation with the IMF will also be discussed, the central bank announced.
