Football club chief must pay EUR 3k over illegal arms charge

Vazura will make this payment "via the Serbian Government's account," Tanjug reported on Thursday.

This comes after the Second Basic Prosecution in Belgrade decided to give up on pursuing criminal charges against Vazura - if he fulfills the said obligation.

Once Vazura does this - the criminal complaint filed against him in May will be rejected.

Vazura was arrested on May 30, when the police found an unlicensed pistol in his car during a routine check.

After spending 48 hours in police custody, he was released, pending the outcome of the legal proceedings.
