Vulin stressed that "Serbian, as well as every other army, is always considering the possibility of buying new systems and always exploring the space where it can get them, and the said statement should be considered in that sense."

Referring to the six MiG-29s that Russia has donated to Serbia, the minister added that "our MiGs will be seen by the end of the year" - when they will enter service in the Serbian Air Force, "making our sky safer and our military stronger and better equipped."

"What we have not been doing for decades, we are doing now, and the Serbian Army will be able to compare itself to all armies in the region," Vulin said.
