The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) on Wednesday ordered repeat presidential election at eight polling stations where it had annulled the voting.

RIK will announce the final results 96 hours after the polling stations close on April 11.

As for latest provisional results of the presidential election, held on April 2, the commission on Wednesday said it had processed 97.42 percent of polling stations, i.e. 96.8 percent of the electorate, leaving 217 polling stations (2.58 percent of the electorate) to be processed.

According to the percentage of the electorate processed, 3,550,764 voters voted, resulting in the 54.54 percent turnout, the commission announced on its website.

Aleksandar Vucic received 1,953,481 votes, or 55.02 percent, followed by Sasa Jankovic (580,917 votes - 16.36 percent), Luka Maksimovic (334,854 votes - 9.43 percent), Vuk Jeremic (200,984 votes - 5.66 percent), Vojislav Seselj (159,912 votes - 4.50 percent), Bosko Obradovic (81,448 votes - 2.29 percent), Sasa Radulovic (50,277 votes - 1.42 percent), Milan Stamatovic (41,591 votes - 1.17 percent), Nenad Canak (40,035 votes - 1.13 percent), Aleksandar Popovic (37,113 votes - 1.05 percent), and Miroslav Parovic (11,276 votes - 0.32 percent).
