The offensive of the Russian army in the Donetsk People's Republic continues, while Russian missile forces are again carrying out strikes on Ukrainian energy capacities.
The Ukrainian National Energy Company reported a loss of 50 percent of its total electricity delivery capacity.
"The attacks are part of preventing the delivery of foreign weapons to Ukraine"
Russia announced that the mass attacks it carried out in Ukraine yesterday, which led to a blackout of electricity and water, were part of preventing the delivery of foreign weapons to Ukraine.
On Friday, "military command systems, the military-industrial complex and their accompanying energy facilities in Ukraine were hit by a mass strike with high-precision weapons," the Russian Ministry of Defense announced at its daily briefing, reported the Agence France-Presse.
"The goal has been achieved. All the assigned facilities have been hit," it added.
"As a result of the strike, the transfer of foreign-made weapons and ammunition was interrupted, the advance of reserves into the areas of hostilities was blocked, and Ukrainian enterprises for the production and repair of weapons were stopped."
"Russia is not sparing resources for the war against our people," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
