"I want you to know that, personally, as the leader of this country, I share this pain. I proposed this meeting because I wanted to hear your opinion and suggestions. I will try to make everything we talked about come true," Putin said, as Russian media reports.

He also revealed that there is a lot of misinformation when it comes to the public.

"It is clear that life is much more complicated than it appears on TV and the Internet. Nobody can be trusted, taking into account modern technologies. This has become important and effective - information has become a weapon," he said after the meeting.
