Ukraine threatened: We will target locations in Russia

Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat said Ukraine could target Iranian missiles at launch sites located in Russia.

"They have to be destroyed somehow, probably from where they are launched. We have no effective means of combating ballistic missiles, except to physically destroy them in the launch phase," he explained.

Ihnat said that Iranian missiles have a "range of 300 to 700 kilometers, which in principle will not be anything new for Ukraine, because Russian-made Iskanders have been used since the first day of the war."

"I think both the top of the military and our partners are working on this issue, looking for effective ways to counter these new threats," Ihnat concluded.

"We should let them attack Russia"

Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs called on NATO to "allow" Ukraine to use Western-supplied weapons for strikes on Russian territory.
