The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army announced on Wednesday that the army possesses the documents of the Russian war plan, reports the Anatolia Agency.
"After the successful operations of the Ukrainian army, the Russian soldiers panicked and left behind some secret documents," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement.
It is stated that the "war plan with Ukraine" was approved on January 18, 2022.
"The occupation of the whole of Ukraine was to be completed within 15 days, from February 20 to March 6," the document reads. Russia's conflict with Ukraine, which began on February 24, has angered the international community, and the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan and the United States have imposed economic sanctions on Moscow.
Many countries are supplying Ukraine with weapons, closing airspace to Russian planes and banning Russian state media.
The second round of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine is scheduled for today.
