Guaido not ruling out foreign military intervention

Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido is considering foreign military intervention as the ultimate measure to overthrow the government of President Maduro.

"I am not ruling out military intervention, because it is entirely clear what Maduro's regime is about," he told the Brazilian newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo, TASS is reporting.

"But that is the ultimate measure. It is important that we first try to facilitate a peaceful transition," Guaido added.

According to data from NGOs, four people were killed in the clashes between the opposition and the police on Tuesday, and around 300 were injured.
