And the reason was Kosovo, RTS is reporting, citing media in Pristina.
The Russian embassy first tweeted, referring to Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and his recent visit to Canada - "and his anti-Russian comments to Canadian media" - that they would "like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that #KosovoisSerbia #KosovoJeSrbija."

To this, the the US House Foreign Affairs Committee Democrats replied, "We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that #Kosovo is independent and #Crimea is #Ukraine."
The Russian embassy responded by tweeting, "I don't think so, House Committee. You have totally wrong understanding of history," and once again finishing the message with the hashtag #KosovoisSerbia, in Serbian.
