Pope Francis tweeting anti-war messages

The head of the Roman Catholic Church on Monday used Twitter to post messages against the war in Syria.

"War never again! Never again war!," Pope Francis tweeted in English and Spanish.

On Sunday, the pope called on members of all religions to join him next weekend in a day of prayers and fasting for peace in Syria.

He expressed his support for dialogue and against military intervention.

On Saturday, Pope Francis plans to lead prayers at St. Peter's Square in Rome, for the end of war in Syria.
