Afghan officials say 14 women and children were killed by a NATO air strike in the country's south, the majority of them children. Provincial government spokesman Dawood Ahmadi said six people were wounded in the May 28 raid, which took place in Helmand Province's Nawzad district. NATO air strike kills 14 The provincial governor also issued a statement saying 12 of the 14 killed were children: seven boys and five girls. A NATO spokesman, Major Tim James, said the alliance was inspecting the site.
