Maliqi was supposed to be a participant in the promotion of the book "Pertej Case Study" at the Center for Cultural Decontamination.

As Maliqi told Danas, this morning at 5 o'clock the police asked him to leave his vehicle and take his luggage because he could not enter Serbia.

"They did not tell me the reason. They said only that I could wait for verification that may take some time, even until the noon," he explained.

Maliqi added that he decided to return, while his colleagues who traveled with is also went back - Besa Luci, Jeton Neziraj and Malinda Hoxha.

The event where Maliqi was headed was a book promotion which, according to Danas, connects twenty years of artistic and cultural cooperation, mutual experiences and friendship.
