A fire broke out early on Wednesday in the Avala Kartonka cardboard factory, located in the Ada Huja neighborhood, on the right bank of the Danube in Belgrade.

All eight have been transported to the military clinic VMA.

A total of nine firetrucks and 28 firefighters were sent to the scene this morning, who managed to localize the fire that broke out in the coal plant of the factory.

The factory's workers attempted to extinguish the fire themselves soon after it broke out, but this resulted in an explosion.

According to reports, six ambulances were also dispatched to the scene early on Wednesday.
