EU sets aside EUR 30mn for migrants in Balkans

The EU on Friday approved a further 30 million euros to help Western Balkan countries to deal with the aftermath of the refugee crisis.

The funds will go to Serbia, Macedonia and other Western Balkan countries to "help to further improve border and migration management capabilities."

The European Commission said that the money comes in addition to the EUR 59 million that has been given to Serbia and Macedonia since the beginning of the migrant crisis in 2015.
