Police destroy device found at Belgrade Waterfront site

The police have safely destroyed what they said was a WW2-leftover grenade where it was found, in the Belgrade Waterfront construction area.

Police destroy device found at Belgrade Waterfront site

Earlier this month, the police safely detonated another WW2 leftover, a 500-kilogram bomb found at the construction site.

That device, found buried nine meters in the ground, carried 250 kilograms of explosives and had a chemical detonator.
