Over 4,000 Serbs still listed as missing across region

According to International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) figures 10,653 persons - including over 4,000 Serbs - are still listed as missing in the region.

Over 4,000 Serbs still listed as missing across region

In 2016, the remains of 34 people - of which only four were Serbs - have been exhumed and identified in Kosovo and Metohija, while in Croatia there have been no exhumations and identifications this year, he said.

Veljko Odalovic, the head of the Serbian government commission on missing persons, said the problem was very grave but significant, "both politically and at state level," for overall normalization in the region.
