More than 100 homes have been flooded there, while many local roads have been damaged, the Beta agency said it learned from the Sector for Emergency Situations.

Firefighters were on Friday pumping water from the affected houses.

Due to the damage done to road infrastructure, several villages are cut off on Friday.

Kosjeric was hit by another storm a week ago that brought heavy rainfall and strong winds, causing great damage to local farmers.

The storm on Thursday also affected the municipalities of Uzice and Pozega.
