The Health Center in Cacak, central Serbia, received a pediatric hip ultrasound device.

On behalf of Komercijalna Banka, the donation was presented by Executive Marketing Director Goran Markovic, who noted that the bank's investment in the equipment given to hospitals and healthcare centers represents its investment in the future.

"After eight maternity wards, the campaign has reached a health center, which means our joint initiative to improve healthcare for children is coming along nicely, and spreading. We must bear in mind that everyone's contribution, even the smallest, to improve the quality of the environment in which we live and work is important, and that together we can spur changes and do great things," Markovic said.

The donation represents the bank's ninth in this campaign. Komercijalna sets aside its own money each time a client makes a payment using cards instead of cash. In this way, the bank's clients directly affect the donation funds without incurring any costs to themselves.

Cacak Health Center Director Dr. Aleksandar Pajovic thanked Komercijalna and the B92 Fund for the important donation, and added:

"The ultrasound will enable us to screen for developmental disorders in infants' hips. This donation will certainly raise the quality of our pediatricians' work, while the babies and their parents will have better access to healthcare."
