The labor and social affairs minister noted that special attention must be devoted to this problem.

Around 260,000 people have passed through Serbian territory by Wednesday, and we have also found 124 children without parental care and it is up to us to care for them, Vulin said at a conference on protecting children in emergency situations.

Providing assistance to children in emergency situations is a very sensitive matter and the decisions made must always be in their best interest, Vulin noted.

Addressing the participants of the conference, Vulin said that he expects advice and guidelines that will make the state even more efficient when it comes to protection of children.
