Border crossings closed, Hungarian highway empty

As crossings Horgos and Backi Vinogradi remain closed on the Serbian-Hungarian border, a highway in Hungary leading from the border is "completely empty."

B92's reporter who is in Hungary this Thursday said the police there are rerouting all vehicles to the Kelebija crossing. A 2-kilometer line of trucks waiting to enter Serbia has formed.

The Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Serbia (AMSS) said on Thursday that Kelebija and Backi Breg, as well as Djala and Bajmok crossings were open - but only for passenger vehicles, and only from 07:00 until 19:00 CET.

There are no reported delays on other border crossings between Serbia and its neighbors.


Truckers end protest, passenger traffic restored

Truck drivers at Batrovci agreed to unblock the border crossing between Serbia and Croatia for passenger traffic on Wednesday, afternoon, Tanjug reported.
