Along the hashtag, Albanians are posting photographs from the 1999 war in Kosovo, while Serbian users responded with photos of Serbs who were murdered or driven out of their homes.

Beside that, Serbs posted messages saying they were proud of their origins, which, according to a Tanjug report, "additionally irritated users from Kosovo", who responded with insults and swearing.

Tanjug also noted that "it remains unclear at the moment how Twitter will react", considering the service's "restrictive" policy when it comes to the spreading of ethnic, racial, or religious hatred.
