Recalling that the country experienced a very difficult period and that its bad image and reputation, as well as prejudices against Serbia, are still present in certain parts of the world, Jeremic pointed out that Serbian tennis players managed to change this to a considerable extent. “The best way to change the image is to show energy, endurance, love for one's country, smile and good will, all of which you have. The fact that today you have been named ambassadors of good will is a great honor to Serbia, just as it would also be a great honor for any other world country if you represented it,” Jeremic said, addressing the teams.
