Serbian Interior Ministry's Emergency Situations Sector says that levels of radioactive particles in the environment are far below those considered dangerous. The ministry also stressed there is no need for additional protection. No danger of radiation in Serbia The cloud carrying radioactive particles from the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan has reached Europe, but there is no cause for concern over radiation levels in Serbia, or anywhere in Europe, reads the statement. The early alert system which measures radiation in Serbia has recorded normal levels. The Interior Ministry and other services are monitoring the readings and informing the public that there is no reason to be concerned, reads the release.
