Health expert Predrag Kon said that the strongest wave of the swine flu, that was earlier expected to arrive in February, will probably miss Serbia. “In the last four weeks, we have found ourselves outside of the epidemic’s path, but the situation is still deemed unsure because there are people who are very sensitive to it. It is estimated that 85 to 90 percent of the people are that way,” the president of the working group for following the pandemic told Radio Television Serbia (RTS). Strongest flu wave to miss Serbia Kon said that the situation in Europe needs to be followed and preventive measures need to be taken, especially vaccination. Health Minister Tomica Milosavljevic said earlier that 160,000 people have been vaccinated thus far, which is only 2.24 percent of the Serbian population. Predrag Kon (Beta archive)
