Serbia to host Euro handball ch'ship

The European Handball Federation (EHF) has decided that Serbia will organize the 2012 men's European championship.

The decision was made in Vienna on Saturday as the members of the EHF Congress met.

The women's competition, to be held the same year, will be hosted by the Netherlands.

42 national delegations took part in two rounds of voting that determined the hosts.

Serbia beat Germany and France, the countries that also submitted bids to organize the event.


EU assisting Serbian education

Josep Lloveras says that the EU is helping professional schools in Serbia as this is one of the pre-conditions for the country’s social and economic progress.
