Serbia's best tennis player Novak Djokovic will visit Zvecan and Kosovska Mitrovica tomorrow. This was confirmed Wednesday by Kosovo Serb officials, Tanjug news agency reports. Djokovic to visit northern Kosovo Thursday The world number three has previously been made an honorary citizen of the northern, Serb-inhabited Kosovo town of Zvecan. Djokovic, whose family is originally from Kosovo, will be in the province to support the Serbs there and show his solidarity for their struggle to survive, organizers said. Djokovic recently donated a fully equipped ambulance to the Kosovska Mitrovica healthcare center, and is financing the construction of a tennis center in Zvecan. President of the Serb National Council of Northern Kosovo (SNV) Milan Ivanovic said that Djokovic will address citizens in the Sumadija Square in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica at 13:00 CET. An hour later, the Serbian tennis star is scheduled to meet his supporters in the Zvecan tennis court, said Ivanovic. He called on citizens of northern Kosovo to welcome Djokovic tomorrow.
