HRT reveals secret Storm list
Former Croatian ministers Jure Radić and Ivan Jarnjak, secret service chief Markica Rebić and generals Mate Laušić, Miljenko Crnjac, Rahim Ademi and Mirko Norac, next to indicted generals Ante Gotovina, Ivan Čermak and Mladen Markač, took part in the joint criminal enterprise aimed at exiling ethnic Serbs from Croatia, according to the Prosecution. The Hague Prosecution headed by Carla Del Ponte is said to believe that the criminal enterprise also included then Croatian President Franjo Tuđman, defense minister Gojko Šušak, two chiefs of Croatian Army headquarters, Janko Bobetko i Zvonimir Červenko, all of whom are now deceased.
According to the indictment, the joint criminal enterprise focused on banishing the Serb population from Croatia using force, intimidation, forcible dislocation, and destruction of property.
Killings and abuse have not been deemed part of the enterprise, which means the Prosecution does not hold the Storm generals responsible for planning the killings that followed Operation Storm, but they will nonetheless answer for it as the indictment says it could have been predicted that murders and abuse might result from the operation, the Croatian media reported.
