Reuters said, citing a senior official, that Romania's parliament passed the no confidence motion 241-7 and toppled the government of Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu.
The agency said that Grindeanu refused to resign last week "after his ruling Social Democrat-led coalition withdrew its support, saying he was not implementing the coalition government's program."
