Dodik to meet with Putin 3 days before RS Day referendum

Serb Republic President Milorad Dodik will travel to Moscow on September 22, where he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The public broadcaster of the Serb entity (RS) in Bosnia-Herzegovina, RTRS, reported this on Wednesday.

Head of the RS representative office in Moscow Dusko Perovic said that the meeting has been confirmed by the Russian president's cabinet.

According to him, the meeting will take place "within the framework of regular consultations on various topics."

Perovic added that Dodik will also meet with Russian businesspeople and investors during his stay in Moscow.

Dodik's trip will come only three days before the RS Day referendum, scheduled to take place on September 25.
