The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey told regional regions from Sarajevo they should create a new vision of the Balkans as a stable and prosperous region. Ahmet Davutoglu is on a several-day visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina. Leaders of Balkans, unite Davutogulu gave a lecture at the American University in Sarajevo, which was attended by numerous politicians. However, messages are coming from the Serb Republic that the leadership of that entity does not trust Turkey's objectivity when it comes to political processes in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Davutoglu made it known during the lecture at the American University that Turkey was also prepared to take responsibility for the processes in the Balkans because the stability of the region was its key interest as well. However, such messages previously also met with suspicion in certain political circles in Serbia, and especially in the Serb Republic. President of that entity Milorad Dodik said that Bosnia-Herzegovin was open to anyone's visit, but expressed doubt about Turkey's objectivity in promoting political solutions in Bosnia-Herzegovina due to, as he said, experiences from previous negotiations. On the other hand, the role of Turkey in political processes in Bosnia is viewed completely differently in the other entity. Member of Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic said after his meeting with Davutogulu that the Turkish regional initiative showed certain results. Bosnia-Herzegovina, as he said, also has the political and economic interest in close ties with Turkey. It was not directly confirmed in Sarajevo that the new initiative of Minister Davutoglu should start a new round of talks of regional leaders. However, soon after his arrival in Bosnia-Herzegovina a new visit of Bakir Izetbegovic to Serbia was announced. According to information from his cabinet, Izetbegovic will visit Belgrade as soon as on September 1. The Turkish minister of foreign affairs
