Đukanović family assets come under microscope
Montenegrin PM Milo Đukanović owns real estate and companies worth at least USD 14.7mn, a consortium of investigative reporters research shows
Source: B92The consortium, where Serbia's Independent Association of Journalists (NUNS) took part with its Center for Investigative Journalism, has obtained data that says Đukanović's brother Aco owns assets worth USD 167mn.
The Montenegrin premier's sister Ana's property is valued at some USD 3.5mn.
The report reveals thus far unknown data about the size and volume of Đukanović's wealth, accumulated during the past 18 years.
At the same time, new details have been published regarding the cigarette smuggling indictment raised against Đukanović by the Italian prosecutors, as well as U.S. DIA reports and other court proceedings, which are conducted against the Italian mafia is Switzerland.
For a whole decade, during the 1990s, the entire income gained from the Montenegrin cigarette smuggling operation went via the Swiss financial market, under the umbrella of the Camorra and the Sacra Corona Unita Italian mafia organizations.
These earnings, according to the report, exceeded one billion dollars.
