According to official information from the airline, the plane, which was flying from Podgorica to Rome carrying 28 passengers, was forced to return to the Montenegrin capital because of technical problems. The media has learned unofficially that the plane circled around Podgorica and dropped its fuel into the Skadarsko Lake, before safely landing. No injuries were reported. The emergency services were on standby at the airport, as were firefighters and police in case of complications. Podgorica airport and the national airline both confirmed for B92 that the airplane had landed safely, but they did not want to divulge the specifics of the technical problems.
