After a meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, Mokopoulos said that he had informed Thaci of the Greek government’s decision to accept the new Kosovo passports, even though Greece has not recognized the province’s independence.

This will allow Kosovo citizens to obtain visas at the Greek office in Priština.

Montenegro and Macedonia have also recognized the Kosovo passports, even though they have not recognized Kosovo independence.
